Everyone was shocked by the shot Denzel Clarke hit off him. The ball was hit so hard to left center by Clark’s fastball from Verlander it landed near the A’s clubhouse.

Denzel Clarke is a new addition to Major League Baseball. He debuted in May 2025. His defense is known. But this time his hitting stole the show. Now he’s in the spotlight. He’s made a few big plays so fans are expecting more from him. His career could take off if he hits like this against a pitcher like Verlander. He’s already won the MLB Electric Play of the Week 4 times with his defense. Now his hitting is up for debate too. He’s shown his strength.
